Sorry to hear about your cat. Have you tried the local refuse collectors when my Sister lost her cat she was told that if they find a dead cat (sorry) they log it along with a description.
hi dont despair we had one go missing for 11 months she turned up one day starving hungry but otherwise fine. i think she must have got in my neighbours trailer him and his son race motorbikes all over the country and i think she must have gone to sleep in there and went off to god knows where
Scooby my gorgeous ginger male went missing for just over 2 weeks last month, We came back early of our holiday because we were so upset, DONT GIVE UP, we did all the same things you have done, including the council, hedge cutting farmers, Then one night he just strolled in as though nothing had happened, Typical Male, There are some great web sights with found cats in your area, its worth looking.

Oh Cheekystar no news as yet, what a worry,Keep your chin up Chester might well walk in anyday now.I know how you feel, worse thing is there is nothing you can do its just a waiting game. Thinking abour you and Chester.Bless.g
Cheekystar, I'm so sorry to hear he hasn't turned up yet, but don't give up on him!! K xx
Oh you poor thing!! I would be devasted if one of babies was away for long. Its the not knowing thats worst isnt it?
Oh dear thought he'd be back by now.......I'm at my door now.........chechecheche CHESTER COME ON BOY checheche......we'll all shout for him he may hear us. Keep your chin up.
i`m crying, and i dont know u! one of mine was away for a week, i sobbed and called for him like a demented person. i walked the streets with posters and then walked to the alottments and found him by walking around the park calling "brucie wucie, come to mummy" there he was, stuck behind two fences, managed to get him out, he ripped my arms and new top to shreds and he was starving, would not let him out for 2 days, its heart breaking and horrid
put the posters through doors, with a piccie, cats are fickle and dont care!!!!!
Just a thought are there any newly boarded up shops houses flats etc near you he could be locked inside one of these. Or perhaps a building site with new houses not yet occupied.
I really feel for you.

I hope poor wee Chester is okay and that you are both reunited soon. It must be horrible not knowing what has happened to him.
I kept checking the other post to see if you would let us know - I have been thinking of you!

I will have a word with Diego, Raff and Jez and if they hear anything through the cat-jungle I will let you know.

Cats are flippin silly sometimes, I am sure he will turn up when you least expect it lapping up all the extra affection and wondering why he is not allowed out ;-)
Cheekystar - so sorry about your lil Chester. It happened to my Whingee before. He went away for 3 weeks, then came back all snotty and skinny, but after a few good feeds and loads of attention (to the disgust of my other monsters!) he was fine. I do hope this happens for you and Chester. Cats are so fickle! They dont realise how much we worry!! Sayin a prayer for Chesters safe return
