A while ago we got a flyer through our door telling us to boycot Tescos because in Japan or Korea or somewhere they are selling live food (fish, turtles etc). My sister emailed them asking why they were so concerned with something happening on the other side of the world, when it was common culinary practice here to boil lobsters alive, and shouldn't they be more concerned with that? They responded that there was a charity campaigning for the abolishment of this anyway, and that they weren't concerned with British issues. I have emailed them, suggesting they set up a branch to campaign against animal boiling worldwide, and not exclude their own nation. I proposed they name this group the Lobby Against Boiling Innocent Animals, or LABIA for short. If you agree with me, or wish to otherwise wind them up, the email address is: [email protected] Have fun!

I do think boiling them alive is cruel, but they taste lovely...and I am only poking fun at the do-gooders that are so keen to meddle in things happening in supermarkets on the other side of the world, but are not concerned with what happens on their own doorsteps.
I support LABIA one hundred percent.
i support labia and would never eat an animal that had been boiled alive. sooo unnecessary
