Maybe a nearby pond overflowed when it rained?
Question Author
absolutely no where near a pond. on the path to the entrance of the school where she teaches...
She should rescue it cos if the puddles dries out they will die
I dont know why this happens but I've seen this before, once or twice but each time there was a lot of rain and flooding around.
Maybe they get confused about whats a pond and whats a puddle or just get the urge with all that water around and get caught short, like you say.
