Following the unfortunate outcome of the eagles nesting that so many people tuned into, in case you aren't aware, the new camera is now online to view a nest with chicks.:

The guy who set this up has decribed the work on the new nest on a link form the site - worth having a look to see the effort they have gone to get this live - and the pictures are streaming fine now.

Awww bless nickmo, that's brilliant, thanks for that, I was gutted when no chicks arrived on the last nest. Will be keeping an eagle (heh!) eye on these on a daily basis from now on :-)
By the way- looking forward to the live bear cam???
Thanks Nickmo! I just tried it there, but the stream keeps stopping every few seconds or so.Maybe I got it at a bad time! I tried waiting a while, but it didn't improve.
Hi Boo! Whats this about a bear cam? I'm all excited here!
Hiya LP, if you look down right hand side of the eagle cam, there's an ad saying a bear cam is 'coming soon', as If I dont spend enough time on the net, it'll be worse when that comes along!

Hi lindapinda - re stopping feed on the picture - it is likely to be due to the service you have as I gather it is the bandwidth of the service provider that is the key to seeing the feed uninterrupted. Bunch of techy stuff could baffle you (and me..) here, but I've been watching on and off for a bit today and not had much problem.

Only downside to this pic at present is the chicks are sheltering in the shade now out of the sunshine, so they are furtherst from the camera at the moment and look like balls of grey stuff...

Also if you try to view in the morning UK time there will be less US visitors to the site that may help as well.

And BOO - you do know its about the animal the bear, not bear people.......

I know!

Believe me I wouldn't watch a 'bare' cam, the thought of seeing other folks jiggly bits aint appealing! heh!

Lol at Boo!! Thanks nickmo! I had noticed that it wasn't too clear.I'll look forward to having another go tomorrow morning then! Here's hoping!
Thanks. xx

Thank you for the link nickmo - something else for us to tune into.

Ah, just watched one of the chicks lifting it's head up & chirping.

Shame about the buffering tho'.

I've been watching since it first came online and didn't post because I thought you might all be over-eagled!

The view isn't that great so I think it may be re- positioned when the super tech guy comes back from his holiday.

Watching it this morning when it was still dark was very exciting with all the night time sounds, then at first light seeing the dear little baby eaglet perch precariously over the nest edge to poo. Enchanting!

Just reading this now Cetti...Love the idea of poo and enchanting being linked lol !!
That is really wonderful, nickmo. Thanks for posting that site. Just got my husband up to have a watch.
Finally have got to actually see them! I'ts really amazing! The little chicks are so cute, and seem to be much more patient when waiting to be fed their little bits of food, than a lot of smaller birds.I find myself grinning at the screen! I'm smitten!

Seeing just how tiny and weak the little one was I didn't think he would last the night, especially after this treatment from the bully boy - but today he's really holding his own. Bless him!
