How come lion's are the only feline's to live in pack's(or pride),all the other cat group's seem to prefer thier own company.

I know there are less numbers of them(tigers, panthers etc) but would the live together if there were more of them.?

They may not be 'Big Cats' but the domestic cat prefers to live in groups. Most folk think that they're loners but if you study a feral group, or if your lucky enough to have enough space to house a number of cats, you will see that they live as a group of related females with their young. A tom cat will visit as many groups as he can fighting off any other males.

I am sure that there are other cats who live in this way. If I find any more I'll come back to you.
