Don’t run the risk of them burning their feet in these extreme weather conditions, I bought some cooling wipes I’m using periodically on Lola,

And please don’t leave them in the car….. just DONT TAKE THEM OUT until early evening when it is cooler.
I can't believe that some total idiots have actually let them in cars already - why oh why does this happen every damn summer. High time it was made illegal. I despair of the human race, I really do !
I put out some shallow bowls of water in the shade for wildlife earlier.
A few weeks ago, a woman in a small town around here, a woman forgot to drop off her baby at the day-care centre and left it in the car while she went to spend her day teaching at the local school...Terrible!!
Shirley...its because some humans really can't comprehend the effect unusual heat has on living things. That includes their pets, themselves, and others around them. That's why reminders are necessary and required...both for animals and humans.
I don't agree with that pasta. Every year, we are told not to leave pets in hot cars. This advice is everywhere - how can they possibly miss it ? It's because they think they know best and nobody is going to tell them what to do. You only have to watch the videos when a dog has been saved from a hot car and the useless owner turns up and berates everyone ! We all get into a car from time to time that has been left in the sun and feel the sheer heat inside - no, there is NO excuse.
OMG Sanmac, how can anyone forget their child in a car FGS?!

And as for leaving pets in a car on a hot day.......... absolute *******! No brain cells.
Many people seem to live their lives on an 'it'll be fine' basis, nutured by a culture of no blame and constant second chances.

Some of it beggars belief.
I've kicked my Salamander out of the house - he kept flaming everywhere.
