What reptile has Hollywood based the most recent Godzilla on? I am guessing an Iguana?

According to Wikipedia, art director Akira Watanabe combined the attributes of a Tyrannosaurus, an iguanodon, Stegosaurus, and an alligator to produce Godzilla.

It's based on a fossil found in an Irish peat bog within the outline of what appears to have been a prehistoric race track.

The fossil was named Stig O'Saurus.
