My 7 month old Spaniel puppy found a chunk of Holly branch , it’s about 2 inches thick and 3 inches long e’s really enjoying gnawing it ..... is it harmful, ....should I take it away,? the hide chews she usually has only last 30 minutes,!

I wouldn't let a puppy chew any wood. it can get stuck in their throats or gums or if they swallow it, it can get stuck. there are plenty of chew options for strong chewers, have a look around online.
Just to be safe, I'd take it from her and give her a hide chew.
If you can find them on-line, deer antlers make excellent long lasting chews.

She has a deer antler but isn’t really bothered with it, she also has a Yaks milk chew which has lasted about 2 months, but she digs up roots to chew and finds sticks in the woods and brings home to chew.
I saw a programme on TV where a dog chewed a stick and the end penetrated the side of his mouth. He had to have an operation to remove it. Nasty.
megfitz put a stop to it now.
