Was walking Maxie last night and he decided to have a sniff by a bus terminal when a bus arrived. I couldn't see one person on the bus wearing a facemask - mind you they were all young. I thought the masks were compulsory in Northern Ireland. So much inconsistency I honestly don't know what is right or wrong. Thank God I never get on a bus.

They probably all had exemptions.
I told ( dunno it's validity ) that just like fake IDs online, you can now get fake exemptions
I don’t know about NI but I think that here staff on buses and in shops are told not to tell people to wear masks. I’ve seen a few people not wear them and no one says a word.
Some do, some don't.
As I posted elsewhere, on Tuesday in Greater Manchester, hardly anyone was wearing a mask on one tram carriage.
In another tram carriage everyone was.
In our town there hardly anyone on the buses as far as I can see, so whether you wear a mask or not, you are guaranteed a bit of isolation :-)
The only people questioning the unmasked are likely to be the same herberts who get vocal when blue badge users manage to move under their own steam.
Some people are just too cool to wear face coverings.
//Thank God I never get on a bus. //

what keeps you safe on the bus is staying 2m away from others. travelling on a bus did not magically become 100% safer after 15th june.
