That is adorable Pasta. Otters are very family orientated in the wild, and I'm sure they'd snuggle with their siblings naturally. I guess the moggy is the otter's new step brother/sister.

The otter seems almost...possessive. "this is MY moggy!"
Sorry Pasta but I don't like it. What is a wild animal doing as pet in a house? Should be with its family in the river where it must have come from.
Perhaps it was orphaned and raised from a pup? I have no odea of the circumstance, so I'm not going to criticize.
Nope, my apologies LB, it seems like otters are being captured for pets, and Sakura may well be a victim of this.

I believe the video is from Japan. I've little knowledge of otters, and I don't know what the policies/regulations might be in Japan. Sorry about that.

Thanks for that Mozz. Nothing like that came up when I googled the otters name.
Thanks for the apology and for the link mozz. Makes me sick. At least taking them from the wild has been banned according to your link. I wonder how that's working, if anyone's taking any notice of it.
