My dog isn't bothered about water and completely ignores the paddling pool I bought and it looks so inviting too! One of my other dogs, now sadly deceased LOVED water and would go in it at every opportunity, I miss that little girl.
Aww cute photo by the way.

thanks ILM she needed to keep cool and with ther seperation issues wont stay indoors by herself
Ermmm...guess they are like people and not all like water. Don't make her do it if she doesn't want to.
My dog loved water.
I sometimes sit with my feet in the pool, but woofer just looks at me as if I'm daft - I probably am!
Oh that little face is saying Get me OUT Mum.
Question Author
i just stood with her Pasta and as long as I was there , then she was okay, not happy, but okay
Question Author
she's out and feet dried now, she was just in a few minutes LB 0)
I have to be honest, I wouldn't put my dog, if I had one, in the water if it didn't want to go. Hoping to get one soon.
Question Author
what breed are you going for , is it a rescue daisy ?
Yes, I'm going for a rescue Bobbi, probably to Dogs Trust. I don't mind what type, just the first one I fall in love with! OH is going to be working from home for the forseeable, so someone will be with it at all times and I only work part-time.
In the good weather, my daughter’s dog is often walked near a shallow stream and he loves running about in the water. In light of this, she bought him a paddling pool for the garden. Strangely, he won’t go near it.
the dog in my avatar used to run a mile every time she heard the bath taps running ...

Two of my dogs are in the pool the minute we take the cover off. The other two won’t go near it. The big one wii also sit and watch the grandkids and push them from the deep end to the steps even though they are both good swimmers

arh how lovely daisy, we got Lola by default, my daughter was diagnosed with having breast cancer 5.5 years ago, my grandson is an only child and always wanted a dog and when it was discussed I always said it wasn't fair to the dog when they both worked full time but this was different , the next we knew they cam to the house with a tint black fluffy ball ( they bought him his dog to distract him from the horrors of chemo and radiotherapy) after 4 nights I got a call for and upset grandson who's a sensitive boy "Grandma please can you let Lola stay a few nights as she's crying through the night," she was 9 weeks old, that was 5'5 years ago haha, we would not be without her now but they pay for vets and groomers etc
Our cockapoo loves paddling in the river or sea and will go in quite deep although not swim.
Show him the paddling pool and he either runs a mile or drinks it.
How lovely nine weeks old - a little ball of fluff. We're going for an older dog (about two or three).
