I mentioned this on Bobbies thread below, but I think it deserves its own. There's is a canine gastroenteritis bug sweeping the country. The usual nasty symptoms.
Sally, and several other local dogs have had it, and I know of several east of here.

Our dog had it about a month ago, here in Staffordshire. It took about a week to get over it as he lost his appetite as well. There were other cases reported in the locality
All five of mine had it, fortunately only lasted about 24 - 36 hours but they did not eat properly for about four or five days after. Mine only had vomiting but others I know have had the squits. Normal adult healthy dogs seem to get over it fine, but it can affect the youngsters and oldies more. Seems to be very contagious, although mine don't mix much with others two of them had been to a show a few days before and must have brought it home to the others.

My Sally started by trying to vomit, ate normally, then had multiple daily squits for about 5-6 days. Appetite was back before that thankfully.
