I have a cat, she's 4 months, but she's alone most of the day, I feel guilty leaving her alone so much, should I get another cat to keep her company? I live in an 1 bedroom apartment, I have no garden I'm on the 5th floor but I have a balcony but I was told not to let her out there as she may jump.

Cats are usually ok on their own.
Does she show signs of anxiety? Is she very clingy to you when you’re at home?
Question Author
No she's not clingy or anxious, she's normally hiding somewhere when I come home and after a few minutes she eventually comes out from her hiding place.
No. She'll be fine. My cat was never a solo cat til 2017. As only cat he is much happier. Make sure she has toys to amuse herself. Play with her when you get in. Before you leave give her cuddles and a treat.

If I leave my boy I leave a radio or tv on for him in one room. I leave him another dark quiet room.

That was a good read, Buenchico, it's put my mind at rest.
I do spoil her rotten Barmaid.

Buy the way, the only time she miaows is when she sees me getting her food ready for her, it's a happy Miaow, I think.
She's only a baby. She'll find her voice in due course. My boss never shuts up.
