//When used monthly, FRONTLINE ® PLUS FOR CATS completely breaks the flea life cycle and controls tick and chewing lice infestations. Research demonstrates that FRONTLINE ® PLUS kills adult fleas, flea eggs, and flea larvae for up to six weeks.//
depending on where you live, frontline is becoming ineffective as the fleas adapt to it. If shew is having a problem it might be worth discussing options with her vet.
Is frontline still effective? I found it great at first, but it seemed to work less and less. I am still trying to find one that really works, for dogs mostly, but I have cats too.
Sorry, crossposted, having trouble getting it to submit.
there appears to be a major problem on ab with pages 'hanging' pixie

Thanks ael x I did check my internet, but it seems fine.
Stopped using Frontline. Now use Bravecto, available for dogs as pills and cats as spot on. Works well
Advocate is by far the best one to use at the moment. Frontline has never worked here since about 2011. The most annoying thing is not only will your animal have fleas if FL isn't working but your home will be infected with them as well. To rid your home of them you need R.I.P.or Indorex. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I've been there.
Thanks calmck, have just done mine, but will try that next time xx

im sure she has used it only the once so how effective it is as yet is anyones guess but I will tell her your answers and maybe get her to look into the advocate one. She hasn't seen any in the home (the little bleeders might be there) and have heard good reviews on indorex, although its expensive but as long as it does the job, thanks all
we used seresto collars
We also use Bravecto for our dog. One tablet, that is like a treat, every 3 months. Easy to administer and works.

she is going to try something called capstar which is a tablet, it apparently gets rid of the fleas in a very short time but is recommended to also use another form of flea killer with it so is going to try this with the frontline plus as shes already bought it, will tell her about the bravecto to see if its ok for cats, thanks all
Capstar treats adult fleas on your pet but does not treat flea eggs, larvae or pupae on your pet or in the environment. ... Capstar does not treat ticks. Sigh.
