I can't watch it either, but my heart is broken just hearing about it. Some humans are such scum. I remember though when Trump first came into power, reading that he was going to make it legal to kill hibernating bears. Luckily it doesn't seem to have been passed as a law. Poor, poor bears.

I couldn't read it fully when I saw it online earlier. Absolutely sick sick minds that I guess were brought up to not care about animals. Didn't some waste of space do the same to a lion the other day?

Prudie I wish I hadn't seen it, I tried to ignore it but couldn't. I was sickened by the lion being killed while asleep but now am thinking at least the lion was spared the terror of knowing he was going to be killed unlike our bear, who was terrified for herself and her cubs.

I see you all feel the same as me. Anne, I tried to watch it but had to turn my head away. Reading it was bad enough. Mother Bear knew what was happening. I feel brokenhearted as well hIa. I've never met the father and son but I hate them for what they have done. And they were so pleased with themselves. So glad they were caught on camera though.

Regular users of this site will know that I am no animal lover. However, I do LIKE animal documentaries. I wouldn't have a pet either but animals in the wild are a fascinating thing. Something like this is totally unnecessary and just shows the callousness of these two. Animals in the wild are interesting and should be left alone.

I wonder how people in their community feel about them in that so many support the hunting of bears. I'd like to think they feel the same as us on this thread but I doubt it.

I can't understand why anybody would want to kill an animal that was of no threat to them. To go and kill the mother and then her babies is beyond belief.

What sort of person could be so callous? I hope the next time that they meet a bear the situation will be different - the bear awake and grumpy and the humans unarmed.
