Any Heated Cat Bed Recommendations?

It is very cold and I have been leaving the heating on overnight. But it seems to make Frankie's asthma worse.

I am considering buying a little cat igloo-type bed and either a microwave pad or electric heat pad or blanket for him.

I went to Amazon and found lots and lots but I am still not sure what to buy him. Any recommendations?

I considered a radiator hammock but I am not convinced that they will take his weight (6kg).

That's thoughtful of you wolf, I haven't got any recommendations but if I was looking I'd call my local cattery and ask what they use because when mine stay in winter I always pay the extra 50p a day for them to have a heated pad. The problem with a radiator hammock is you will need to leave the heating on.
We wrap a hot water bottle in a pillow case and pop that under the cat pad and it does a marvellous job

Prudie, good point about the radiator.

RR, he has previously punctured a bit water bottle but it may be worth a try. (Did you see tiggerblue's) post in CB about dining in Belfast!
I got one of these. One of our cats really feels the cold and he loves it. Cheaper ones are also available.

Will follow with interest this thread as ive got the same problem with Gary. He's got a dog bed, a fleecy blanket and a fleecy sheet type thing underneath all that but he felt cold when I came downstairs to him the other morning- it broke my heart, lol

B00, can't he just cuddle into his fluffy sister?

He is never going to be a big lad and he will chill quickly, so what about a jersey? He can put it on his Santa list.
