Hi all, not sure if this has been posted before, apologies if it has. I'm trying to find the title of a film I saw when I was a kid. I can only remember one scene.

I just remember it being a cartoon film and there were men with hunting guns in the woods. I think they were looking for dogs. Then he's see's one that he obviously knows and loves. I think it was his pet. He rests the gun on the side on his leg, slaps his legs and says "Come on boy" the dog recognises him and is all excited to see him. Then jumps up on his lap. his paw accidently his the trigger of the gun, which kills his master.

Does this sound familiar to anyone or was it a dream?!!!

Thanks for your answer guys. We were all talking about sad films at the dinner table Sunday and this was the one I couldn't think of the name.

My mum said it was plague dogs and it finishes with them swimming out to sea but nobody knows what happens. Will have to buy it and see!
