Amazing woman who runs a hospice for dying animals (yes of course there is other suffering in the world, but it is surely a mark of a civilised society to look after the weak, of any species).

Inspired me to find her website and do what little I could to help her work.

That is inspiring, Bill. She seems to be doing a tremendous job.

Thank you for posting.
If owners are so desperate not to make that heartbreaking decision that they leave it too late, then wouldn't the same apply for removing them from their home to send to the hospice ?

Bit confused, geezer. When you write: "wouldn't the same apply for removing them from their home" are you talking about the sick pets, or the owners?

I agree, either way - people shouldn't have to schlep all the way to Switzerland to find permanent relief from their suffering.
What a truly beautiful woman (inside and out). This lovely story has made me cry. I'm going to send her a donation.
I think she does this for homeless animals not where people send their pets. A worthy cause.
