It does sound funny but the poor creatures.

It's worth noting symptoms do not include a hunger for human brains.

I vaguely remember when I was a kid (1970s) there was an old dog that lived locally, she had caught distemper as a pup and lost her vision due to it.

I suppose that routinely vaccinating the wildlife may be a problematic task.
