A lovely name for a handsome butterfly.
Such a lovely butterfly, Chip.....I have had a few more butterflies of late and discovered that they adore the little solar panels for my water feature pumps.....x

Hi Gness, I didn't see your post before.

What do you think is attracting the butterflies to your solar panels, warming up maybe ?
Funny that .Read your post and did a search. Have seen them in my garden here in S Wales. Didn't know what they were.
Quite common butterflies are Speckled Wood.

The problem is remembering all the names.
I can only think it's the warmth, Chip.......but it's a great attraction...x

That was my first thoughts, Gness.
If you can also provide plants for nectar and food, it will be paradise for them.
Good luck.
