A fox was barking for most of the night. Is this usual behaviour at this time of the year?

not round here....they have been doing it since March and blooming annoying it is too because it sets my dogs off.

I'm not used to hearing them in May. Maybe I just haven't noticed before
In my neck of the woods, its Muntjac Deer doing most of the barking at the moment.
Tend to hear the foxes around January time here - was Geese and Ducks kept disturbing me last night.

No deer here, just foxes and badgers.
Gness and tilly are a pair of foxes; was it them? ;-)
