hi

a friends cat has fleas, they gave it an over the counter spot-on treatment that hasn't worked, i've told her to get advantage which she has done but unsure if she can give it to her straight away. The over the counter meds says once a month and that was given to the cat about 2 weeks ago maybe slightly longer.

any ideas ( i did tell her to call her vet but she doesnt have one....)

standard advice is to wait as long as the first flea treatment tells you to wait before re treating. si if the original one is supposed to last a month, then wait a month. She has a pet and isnt registered with a vet? is she mad?
