Is that bad?
Three per cent of them do. There is a good chance that 3 per cent of the UK population who go out for a takeaway do as well (but they don`t know it)
I'm very surprised.I thought the Swiss were very uptight and pristine, not the types to eat pets.

It seems hypocritical to accept the eating of one species of animal and not another. At least these two would have some meat on them.

When I used to regularly go to Switzerland years ago, I was surprised to find that Zurich had highest AIDS rate in Europe. Things aren`t always what they appear.

A cat is a mammal, a cow is a mammal. The difference is cultural I suppose.
A human is a mammal. I`m not sure that I would want to eat one though.
Frognog, the difference is that one is small and purrs and one is big and goes moo. They're easily distinguished even when it's quite dark :-)
They do have the Dignitas folk to feed, you know....

When I was young I remember a Chinese restaurant being done for selling cat or dog in their dishes. I think they were called Ping Hong.
It tastes like chicken, it's quite common in the Middle East and used to masquerade for chicken. Dog is a darker meat, more akin to pork and very common in Vietnam, Macau and South-west China. It's rather shocking to see the way that they cage them and I won't describe the bondage position that they use on the poor beasties.
