My Daughters dog has eaten a small box of her daughters raisins yesterday. She has been sick a few times, but her pooh is normal, and no diarrhoea as up to yet, she is fine in herself, and has not been fed for 24hrs just fluids, is there anything she should be doing ?.. Thanks.

If there was going to be a problem it would probably have happened by now, but personally I would have had her at the vets as soon as she was sick to be on the safe side.

I doubt there will be any problems at all, just keep an eye on her and give the vet a ring in the morning if you are still worried.

What's her current situation?
Ha ha ^
I cant see there being a problem either, I used to feed my dog grapes he loved them !! No harm done to him.
I buy hedgehog food (a seed/oat mixture) from birdfood.co.uk

It also contains raisins - and has a warning on the packet about raisins being eaten by cats and dogs.....

Best luck!
People who say 'my dog ate them without a problem' make me cross same with chocolate - yes the majority of dogs will be ok - but you can't think much of your dogs if you are willing to take the risk. Hope you never find out the hard way that yours is the one that it does affect.
I also believe that chocolate has a cumulative affect and the toxins build up in the body over time and then bang, too late!
Heartily agree with lankeela at 12:22.
Oh lankeela...hindsight is a wonderful thing though isnt it? This being years ago before knowledge of what things may be toxic to dogs had been brought to light! My beloved hound lived to 14. :)
