Hi,

i had terrible problems last year with mice coming into my bedroom

i set traps and caught them eventually but i have an irrational fear of the wee runts not to mention they are disgusting,

anyone any tips on how to keep them out in the first place? i live in quite an old house and the floorboards probaly have holes :(

i read somewhere moth balls help deter them?

There is a lot to be said for old fashioned remedies.:-

We had a bit of a problem with the little critters .

We tried traps initially , then we bought some of these devices which you plug into the electrical sockets ; which is suppose to emit some sort of sound
( inaudible to humans ) , but destressing to the little buggers .

It seems to have worked ( touch wood ) - they have probably moved on to next door

Strange I know, but does anybody you know keep ferrets? If so get them to drag one around all your skirting boards, you will never see another mouse.
our council has a free pest controller we had rats when we moved in thankfully gone now .
you could spend time going round and filling in the holes, or is the thought of doing that worse than the thought of the mice?
