Amazing Sight

As well as filling bird feeders, I usually scatter some seed on the patio so I can watch the birds from my window. Spotted movement and there was a little vole having a fine feed. Moments later a handsome male chaffinch joined him and the two of them carried on feeding. Wish I had a decent camera, it would have made a great picture.

You see some great sights in nature maggie, unfortunately I'm like the guy in the Kit Kat add. No matter how long I wait, camera at the ready, as soon as I look away the pandas come out to play.

Great maggie. So glad that you enjoy the 'simpler' sides of Nature too. There is a whole ecological struggle going on in our gardens when we take the time to notice them.
