If you can live with the farting...
This might help. Worth googling what food is bad for dogs to eat as well !

my dog loves eggs! not sure if its good for her or not though!
Should be fine although in very rare cases dogs can be allergic to them but if they are you would soon see a reaction. When I have puppies they get scrambled egg for breakfast. Main thing is to make sure they are cooked or if fed raw avoid giving the whites.
dennis has your daughter not given you a dietary guideline, rather than guesswork?

No Mamyalynne, just a whole pile of pedigree food. However I have just rung her in Aussy and she says ok as he has had it before. Thanks to all who replied.
might struggle with the eggcup and spoon if it's boiled
Good to hear, enjoy dog sitting.
Have you been told how much to feed - if its a very small dog you may be surprised how little they actually need and could end up overfeeding it - if feeding the egg reduce the rest of its food the same day by a similar amount. Sorry not meaning to teach granny to suck eggs (pun intended) but my mum could not get her head round how little my small dogs actually eat and always wanted to give them more!
