My cat is famous!

Omigod, omigod, omigod, I'm so excited! My cat Basil is now an internet sensation and is doing the rounds on Facebook as one of George Takei's joke pictures.

This photo was taken some years back and made into an ecard when I worked for an animal welfare organisation. I suppose someone must have sent George the ecard and he thought Baz looked sufficiently evil (which he is) to be a politician.

I love him to bits! Basil, that is.

I wish I could, B00! I've emailed my old employers to see if they still have the e-card, but I haven't heard back yet.

Baz is such a character, really manipulative and sneaky and an ideal politician.

My Princess Merlin is looking for a man cat to look after her - now that Basil is famous will he be available? She doesn't want a normal cat - just a famous celebrity cat. A cool cat.

lol, wolfie, from what I've heard of Merlin, she would beat the living daylights out of him. He's actually quite scared of other cats.

He's now an old man of 16, but was about 9 when this pic was taken.

Basil looks very smug in the photo! Cats can look way too pleased with themselves, when our cat Bandit used to look too smug, my other half would have to go over and tickle her feet or something in a vain attempt to annoy her to get the look off her face, most of the time it did not work though!
Brilliant after photo Kiki-frog, you should be proud of him, I expect if he knew he was famous he would be absolutely impossible to live with!
