So I've had an email in my Inbox today ...

Mrs Yetunde Olowabi has had triplets. Her husband has been killed in a car crash. She can't look after the babies, so is giving them up for adoption.

All I have to do is send her the admin fee for the adoption.

I don't have any children, so maybe I should consider this option?

I'd expect a discount for three, obviously.
How many admin fees do you suppose she is hoping to rake in?

How did she know your email address? And did she use your real name, or some anonymous greeting like "Dear Friend" which would be good for a few thousand copies of her email to addresses mechanically hoovered up from websites all over the world?

No name. Just "Hi" ...

... which I thought was nice and friendly.
Seems some of these replies are thinking you believe the content of the email jj. lol

Story of my life, Chuck F - I've got into so much trouble thinking people were being jocular or sarcastic, when they were actually being serious, that now I take everything at face value. Well, almost everything.

I'll let you have a fully house trained one for free - he can even cook and won't put cheese in the fridge!
I've had all the usual phishing emails in the past but never one offering children for adoption.
