Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Greetings again from the Royal Palace of Thebes, where I, Queen Hatshepsut, continue to test your grey cells [and your patience] with my whimsies

And I am quite desolate to see that for a second week, my whimsies have gathered in so few points for my loyal subjects –I must entreat the royal soothsayers to be kinder and more lenient and to allow the seasonal flood tide to wash over all [ but don’t blame me if you all get wet feet !! ]

My pre-selected matches were as follows -

Dog Star
Cat Burglar
Rocking Horse
Bird Watcher [ing]

The first match went to evsajo with Dog Star, owllady collected the points for Cat Burglar, FoxLee2 won through with Bird Watching but, and this was much to my surprise, the final match, Rocking Horse, wasn’t picked up till late in the afternoon by ChrisH – so you can still get lucky even outside the first mad rush!!

2unicorns, wickedtongue and Lysander all picked up a point for later matches
all of which made for movement on the Leader Board and as next week is the final one in this contest I must ensure that an abundance of points are on offer for a really speccy finale.

Tune in next Saturday same time, same place for the thrilling conclusion and to see who will wear the Double Crown and the Pharaonic Beard [ well maybe NOT the Beard, it could look a tad silly ] for the month of September
