I just wanted to show those of you who criticise the RSPCA what they actually can do! This is really distressing so do not read if you dont like to see what us 'humans' are capable of. I am NOT suggesting donations!!-its just for information. www.rspca.org.uk/maggiemayappeal

I'm amazed the RSPCA went out in the first place to be honest linedancer. I've witnessed personally, and heard too many tales of instances where the RSPCA won't come out when contacted.
Can't get the link to work I'm afraid. I'm sure they must do some good however I think they ignore a lot they should assist with and get involved in a lot that they shouldn't. Not one of my preferred charities.
I remember that case. Absolutely horrific. I always stick up for the RSPCA, on here and elsewhere. They have come out every time I've called them and taken appropriate action. I know they are overwhelmed sometimes, they are a charity after all.

Glad some of you agree that their work is valuable. People often forget that one of their main aims is to help and find a safe refuge for animals rescued by their inspectors and as such are often overwhelmed.
What a horrific story - and I didn't read it all - how in the hell can people be so twisted and cruel - but I'm afraid to say that I don't have much faith in the RSPCA - I know of several cases where people have called them for help, and they don't appear to have done anything about it.
