Hi there,
I'm currently living in Spain and bought my pup while I was out here. I plan on returning to the UK later this year and so have been looking into the PETS scheme to bring Benji back with me. The scheme requires that the dog has a rabies vaccination followed by a blood test, followed by a six month wait before entering the UK. I am just wondering if anyone can tell me the waiting period between the vaccination and the blood test? My pup had his vaccination last week and I want to get the ball rolling with this ASAP. I've looked on the internet but can't seem to find an answer to this question.

Anyone got any ideas how long I should wait before sending off for blood tests? The vets out here don't seem to be very familiar with the scheme so I wondered whether I'd be able to get a straightforward answer from here!
Thanks!

You need to talk to NoMercy if she's around, she brought her dog back from Spain last year.
Each vaccination manufacturer has their own guidelines as to when the blood test may be taken:

Just checked further and it appears to be approximately 30 days after the vaccination.
