Not looking for an exact answer here, just there about. How much would an average air pump in a fish pond cost to run a week? Its an average size pond. Just an average estimate will do.

Depends on the size of the pump. in my pond I have 185w pump plus 22w of UV filter lights if they are left on 24hrs thats a total of about 5 units/day. I'm not sure of the cost/unit at the moment but the cost/day in my case is £0.75p-£1.00p per day

Thanks, thats about what I thought so sounds about right.
omg think i better turn mine off for part of the day didnt realise it was costing all that
I'm with British Gas and pay 9.799p / Kwh.
0.185 kw plus 0.022 Kw x 9.799 x 24 = 48.68p over 24 hours
I'm with BG as well henkle, but couldn't find an old bill with the cost/uni so guessed at about 12-15p unit
....and I thought 185w sounded high for a pump, a quick Google shows a medium sized pond pump uses around 65w.
So, (65/1000) x 9.799 x 24 x7 = £1.07 per week.
It's quite a big pond, henkle
I'm sure it is...
