Has anyone any useful advice with regards to getting rid of pet odour. We have two dogs which are washed on a regular basis but the house still smell like a zoo sometimes!! Any tips to get rid of this odour would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I know exactly waht you mean!! I shampoo and febreze may carpets with obsessive regularity, also wash the dog bed covers often too
Washing/bathing your dog frequently can make this problem worse. The best way is to brush your dog frequently with a bristle brush, then comb to get rid of loose hair.
My dogs are very short single coated (Weimaraner x GSP) and I find that the best groomer to use is a horsehair or sisal hound glove, removes loose hair and dirt and dander and they go in the washing machine. When they are in full moult, I use a furminator over their backs and neck/chest as well
further to this, Yankee the candle people have just brought out a new range of household odour candles and I have found them very helpful in clearing the air as it were.
I have the mint one going ATM, nice and fresh and genuinely seems ot clear the air, not just mask (no I don't work for them!)
