Converting coldwater tank to tropical

I am considering purchasing a Rena Aquacube 43L tank and stand - it is displayed as being "Coldwater". However, I am wondering whether it is possible to simply place a heater in the tank to convert it to tropical. I have inspected the tank and can see that there is a suitable hole for feeding the cable of the heater through and it should just attach to the back easily enough.

I'm fairly confident it is possible, I would like some confirmation though before I commit to the purchase!!

Cheers
