A lot of us have new dogs and I'd like to know how your little friend is doing.

We are getting there with Dylan and now enjoy our walks rather than it being a total trauma of pulling, lunging and sniffing. :-)

This one has a little face only a mother can love and I do Tilly

Lola is very blessed, Bobbie.
Thanks Tilly, I could not imagine life without her
Question Author
Is she enjoying the mobile home holiday?

I now realise that my question should be, 'How is the next generation of Ab dogs doing?'

Shame :-(
I am dog-less (dugless here in Scotland). But all the talk of new dos has made me realise how much I miss having one around.

Frankie is an old and cranky cat, I don't think that he would be pleased with an addition to our family.

No, Wolf. I agree with you. Frankie would not be happy,
My Jay is doing fine thanks Tilly. I have found an enclosed field close to home where he is safe to go off lead. He loves chasing around after tennis balls with a load of other dogs and gets rid of lots of energy. He's a little sweetheart, most of the time;-)
Rodney is doing very well. His year anniversary with us will be next month. He’s stopped cowering when ticked off for being a bit naughty, especially when digging big holes in the raised beds in the garden, so I believe he now feels safe with us. His lead walking is still a bit of a mare. He walks lovely until he sees another dog, or cat, then he literally screams to say hello, which we love to let him do, but most other owners round here are scared as he’s so big.

We did have a problem with him earlier in the year when things looked dicey. He didn’t take to my daughter when she came home from uni. It was a bit stressful as he was horrible to her. Fortunately, for Rodney, the rest of the house voted against me and we worked on his behaviour. He’s now fine with her. All in all, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster but we love the bones of him. He’s currently laying on my feet because he thinks he’s getting the dregs of my weetbix :)
We borrow sons dog occasionally when he is in work.
Wish I had one of my own.
Sorry Tilly, I had an early night but to answer you, Yes, Lola loved her time running along the wide empty beach at Cresswell
my two JRs are doing fine, one bit me only a few days ago!
I was dog sitting for my ex a couple of weeks ago. Thoroughly enjoyed the walks and comaraderie. However, like grand children I was glad to hand her back at the end of the week:-)
Daisy has been here just over 3 months now. She hasn't cowered to the floor with her head turned away for several weeks now. It took her about 3 weeks to subtly climb up onto the settee (and also get down to a healthy weight) and 3 months before she followed us upstairs. Yesterday morning, she sneaked onto the bed for the first time. I don't mind where she chooses to sleep, but it's nice to see her confidence increasing.
Still quite mad, and never stops... lol. But very waggy too.
We are on the waiting list now for a German Shepherd puppy so we'll be having a 2021 baby!
Gorgeous, apg :-) we had lots of rescue ones when I was growing up.
Duggee is settling in and growing a lot. Today is d day for us. His paperwork wasn't right and our vet was worried he might be stolen. We had to wait when we changed his chip details for a month to make sure no one came forward to say he was theirs. That month runs out today. He could do with some puppy classes because hes very chewy and jumpy uppy but no puppy classes running atm. I need him to grow slightly so he can no longer wriggle under the puppy gate
Hope that goes well, bednobs. Good luck xx Daisy was also registered (microchip) under a different name and breed, but because she didn't flag up as stolen or missing, they allowed me to change it to my details.
I reckon Tilly must have forgotten she posted this thread.

Lb, I didn't forget. I have just been so busy today. Got to go out again shortly. May find some time later. All my busyness has been Dylan related. :-)
