Well another mad day! Good news the 20 kittens which were dumped in a box all with cat flu are doing well. 4 of the older ones were well enough to be nuetered & ready for rehoming. one of the little ones unfortunately has brain damage but seems happy enough. The mum which was also dumped with them ( not mum to them all ) is really lovely. Good news also that we rehomed our oldest residents Petra & Stanley aged 16 & 17. They were left to us in a will & now at their new loving home. Managed to empty 2 more pens today so working down the 8 month waiting list to get some more in. Never ending!!

Rehoming the oldies is great - my first cat master was a pensioner when I adopted him. He lived with me for 5 years before he died.

My Merlin is either blind and deaf or totally stupid so maybe she has brain damage too.

Before I start on about neutering the irresponsible humans I had better go ...............

Tell me about it wolf!!!!!!
Really great news that the 2 oldies have found a new home, older cats are such lovely pets and I hope they have a few more happy years with their new family. I'm of a like mind with wolf about neutering irresponsible humans so won't say any more either :D

Just an update. Sadly 3 of the kittens have died this week. Our fosterers have done their best including giving medication every 2 hrs in 24! The rest are doing fine. We made the local paper today with pics so should get a good response.
Keep up the good work Kat1 ----proud of you so I am
