A zero waste world is achievable but we'd all have to take mason jars to the local farmers market (I don't think i even have a local farmers market) to collect peas and make our own carrier bags out of twine and hemp to carry back lemons and melons...
It'd be an awesome world, but a hard one to maintain!
I am very lucky inasmuch as I have a local farm shop and an old fashioned butchers so I can cut down my recyclable waste that way but when I move I dont know if I shall have such easy access to that type of outlet.
