Been looking at buying a new Ford KA with no px and paying cash. Been to 3 dealers and they all say that Ford have no price lists and have all had a file with the full list price on and another showing the maximum discount (allegedly) and all 3 have quoted exactly the same price and all said there is no room for movement on this. Is this how Ford work now so you can't pit one dealer against another? Anyone know if there are better deals available?

Many thanks in advance to anyone who answers.

why buy brand new? there are car supermarkets out there that sell cars 3 or 4 months old at a vastly reduced price. spend the saving on a higher spec model ? some may even have new cars on the discount
...and stay away from the Ka. If you want a ford go for a focus or fiesta. The Ka, apart from being ugly, is not even in the same league as the focus.
I have never driven a KA so I cannot comment, but I have driven a new Fiesta and it is no where near as good as my current Focus, I suggest go for the Focus, you will enjoy the ride!
