I have a debate with my friend and we're debating on which we think is more comfortable. I think being shirtless is better, while he thinks otherwise. He won't try it, but he said he might if he lived alone. I want to know what you think is more comfortable though shirt on or off?

In a public place such as a cafe or bar, shirt on.
depends - are you at the seaside or at a funeral?

Around the home, wear what you like. You don't have to both find the saem thing confortable.
Not really into "taps aff" apart from at the beach or in the bedroom.
Taps aff in part of Scotland today !!!
If you've got a Djokovic 6-pack then shirtless; if not, shirt on!
For 99% of the population here it should be shirts on.
Belfast has suffered enough.
It depends what you're up to. Lying on rough grass with the odd thistle and ant around then a shirt on would be far more comfortable.

ULSTER SAYS NO, sandy :-)
A shirtless man on a baking hot day leaning over the salads in Tesco is just not on! Sweat is not a good salad dressing. :-(

- whereas a woman would be more of a distraction on the fruit counter?

Fair enough tattie howking as a wee lad, but not now!
It's hot here as you know, Dave. You can stay away from the fruit counter. I'll do the shopping. You can stay at home and do the laundry.
Did you earn much tattie howking, Jim?
Far more comfortable with a shirt on. My dad always wore his string vest under his shirt as he said it helped control sweating and kept him cooler. Seems he was right

Shirt on. Around the house, also stops your furniture getting covered in sweat ...
in the garden mr mally goes shirtless he hasn't got a six pack but a party seven x
Depends on the colour of the shirt, white attracts heat and black repels it.
It's obviously cooler in the shade than in the sun; wear a loose-fitting shirt and your body is in the shade with plenty of ventilation. I disagree with Danny as to the colour - Arabs don't wear white for no reason.
agree bhg when we lived abroad houses were all painted white x
Back in the 1960s I worked with aerial cameras and we had a very large darkroom in which we carried out checks on the cameras. The darkroom had been designed with windows "to make it look nice from the outside", so we had black blinds to keep the light out. If the sun came out you could feel the heat from the blind when standing 10 feet away; it was necessary to have a set of white blinds on the outside to reflect the heat or life became unbearable.
