A nice glass of red...usually a Shiraz. But tonight it's an organic Primitivo.
Gin espresso martini

It is indeed :)

I like a glass of wine with a meal out, red or Rose but not white
No such thing as "aren't supposed to" Bobbi. People should drink what they like, red fish with wine if it floats their bloater ;)
Gin and Tonic. Prefer the Mediterranean style gins, either Menorcan or Mare and tonic good old fashioned original with no fancy flavour added.

Hi Choux it’s often said that a mixer drowns a spirit , maybe watching them on TV, they drink it neat haha
or even red wine with fish - doh

There’s a gin distillery in Mahon isn’t there Prudie ?
Too much snobbishness around with drinking, imo. You pay for it - you choose. Simples :)

Arh well a bottle of Broon and a straw it is then Choux haha
I've not consumed any booze for over a month but I've bought some Shepherd Neame India Pale Ale today, which I might make a start on shortly. (It's a cracking good IPA but, at 6.1%ABV, not one to be consumed in large quantities!).

I'm not sure that I've got a 'favourite' tipple. I like loads of good real ales, several different whiskies, plenty of good wines (both red and white) and most liqueurs. If I was going to really treat myself though, I think that I might buy a nice bottle of kirsch. Lovely!
Black tea or tap water! With a meal out dry red wine and sometimes a dry white spritzer with lots of soda water. That's it. Hate anything sweet. Boring aren't I?!

No not at all Lofty , as Choux says each to their own
I remember watching a programme about booze on Ch4 years ago. The reporter went to Calais and interviewed an English man who sold booze in that area to the British cross channel trade. He sold Russian vodka for upwards of £10 per bottle but when he was challenged about the price, he said he paid 65p per litre for it. Waste of money.
