Was talking to another ABer earlier about shopping, and I was saying that I’ve had a weekly online delivery from Tesco for years, but getting so hard to get a slot these days. Then I discovered that Co-op do a same day delivery. Not for a massive shop as it’s all delivered on motorbikes/ mopeds, but at least a couple of carrier bags worth. and for only £1.99. Placed order at 3pm the other day - was all in my fridge by 7pm. Great for an emergency definitely. Especially since I still can’t drive quite yet. Who do you all use?

Sainsbury's - never any problem getting a slot.
Yes - brilliant service from the Co op.
I use Tesco as well. I find both very good.

Think I’m so used to booking slot for a couple of days time, and now can’t get anything within a week. Not here anyway.
tesco, sometimes sainsburys
Ocado now they do Marks food, I can also use Tesco, Waitrose or Sainsburys, tried Iceland but wasn't impressed.
Asda, I got an email from them when I was put on the government vulnerable list offering me a recurring weekly slot which has been a massive help while I've been shielding, especially as I live alone. Was impossible to get a slot otherwise. I thankfully kept it going, just in case.

I've been tempted to try one of the other delivery options like that, to see if I can get some fresher bits between shops. Harder to plan with weekly deliveries and only a tiny freezer, not knowing what dates you'll get on things. I really miss things like crusty bread too, that you can't get on home delivery from Asda.

I didn't usually shop with them before Covid, usually much smaller and convenient city centre stores. I can't do bigger supermarkets mobility wise so it's actually good to have access to a much wider range of things than usual.
I've used Tesco for years, have an anytime plan that costs £7 a month.
I've used all of them I think, but I prefer Ocado- at least I did until they paired with M&S and now the quality has plummeted. Sainsburys are good for slots as they only release them one or two days in advance.
Oh that’s interesting re same day co op

Eve - yes I literally discovered it about 10 days ago. If you place order in morning you’ll get it even earlier. They’ve been brilliant x
Tesco, they've always being reliable. a monthly shop and although they're are all polite I'm still waiting for Lily James to knock on my door.
Tesco and Morrisons on Amazon :-)

Lol
Good to know about co-op. I just registered with Ocado...but they don't deliver here yet. Boo hoo...
Oh...and so far I've used Sainsbury's the most...Tesco once, and Iceland a couple of times. But they are quite limited in what they have ...I can't find enough to spend £35 on.

Interesting how they all differ
I use Tesco and on the odd occasion Ocado. I signed up with Asda during the first lockdown as Tesco slots were not available. Only used them once.
I use Tesco once a week, I get a priority slot, but it s quite expensive, has gone up from £2.50 to £4.50 delivery. Not doing any special offers on delivery at the moment. All polite drivers, and will always give a refund if shopping not right, not ripe, etc.
Apparently my daughter's local Co-op in the area where they've just moved will deliver within 30 minutes! Ideal if you run out of beer.
