ad campaign but no reason why its shouldn't be a company ethic too.

Because company's have one ambition. To make money, not to start a wave of ethical consciousness

It's good marketing, hit a topic everyone's discussing at the moment.
It is.
For some reason I have no volume on that. What's the message?

Maybe their message didn't even land on me.. Apparently it's about the 'boys will be boys' toxic mentality and masculinity.

I have never considered 'boys to be boys' as a reason to do, or not do, anything at all.
It's a nice message. Boys will be boys and girls will be girls but teach them by example.
I think this question is moot or it probably soon will be. :-)
The message is most men are ***.
There are ways and means of stating something. Whatever the intent, one can, through lack of forethought, criticise folk where it was unintended, and screw up market share if done by incompetent marketeers.
And this from a company that preached that men were so lacking in worth that the best they can expect to get, is a razor blade.

to say the right thing, to act the right way...some already are.

'some' not most, just 'some'

Tarring most of the world's men as *** s isn't good marketing imo.
