Just wondered what other Aber's thoughts are on the latest family holiday advert by booking .com.I thought that the use of the word booking was at times inappropriate at breakfast time.I nearly spilt my coffee when I first heard it thinking that he was swearing.

I heard it yesterday and thought exactly the same thing - def sounds like he's swearing, or at the very least, meant to be swearing.
A truly dire advert in very bad taste.
It was mildly funny at the first mention, but then they beat the joke to death and it was embarrassing by the end of the ad.
I didn't like it either. One use may have been ok at the end but the way it has been done is not appropriate.
I am no prude but also thought it inappropriate, if this become playground slang it will be a sad day!
It's awful!! Just a matter of time before it's banned surely. There is a similar ad by beaching.com although not as bad!
I missed all this. I'll look out for the ad. No doubt, it'll be off air soon though.
For those of you that haven't seen it, I found a video of it on youtube .... just in case it gets taken off air:

The first time I heard it I thought it was an attempt to beat the AB swear filter.
I haven't seen it....and I don't want to see it or any other advertisement. I mute the TV and do something useful when the ads are on because I dislike being hassled to buy things!
It is just puerile which is a shame because I have been using Booking.com for years and have stayed in some cracking hotels but if I didn't know I would probably avoid the site
It's booking awful ......sorry!
I saw it the other night and reported it for the same reason. Not heard from the authority concerned yet. Even though it isn't swearing it's obvious they are putting that word in our heads.

Glad I'm not alone.
crassness abounds - there's also that other one with a giant bird pooping on people
The company are probably desperate after all the revelations on Money Box recently.
I know this is old now, but just to add that I finally heard from the advertising standards authority. They said the received over 2000 complaints about this advert for the reason given, and they are investigating it.
I hope it's banned. It's in extremely bad taste, IMO.
It's infantile, tasteless, and pathetic.
