I'm just getting over the 'bug' that seems to be going around, flu like symptoms, aching joints, weak, chesty cough, no appetite etc, I had flu jab about 2 months ago so I doubt if its flu! I have been taking Beechams and cough mixture and my question is this, the last few nights i've woken up with night cold sweats, really wet, any ideas what it means? Thanks for any help.

There are many causes for night sweats.....but in your particular case it is almost certainly due to the fact that you have yet to recover from your viral upper respiratory chest infection and nay well take another week to recover. At this stage, the night sweats are no big deal and are due to a bodily reaction the infection. Monitor the situation.
