Ghd Hair Straightners Only One Side Heating Up

My ghd hair straightners only one side is heating. I have changed both heating elements.
Does anybody know what else the problem could be?

The wiring to one side could have come loose. GHD do offer a repair service. I think it's a flat charge of £25 no matter what the problem. You post them off & they repair them & post them back. I don't have the details but you could Google it.
