Is anyone else hating this advert? His face after the bee sting is gruesome and the whole thing is extremely unfunny. People get paid to think up this crap.

havent seen all of it but my wife has and says it is awful and cant bring herself to watch it, which isnt a great way to encourage her to bank with them is it?
Lol- I think i'm on my own here then- I think it's hysterical- sorry!
It might have been moderately amusing had they not done the whole swollen face bit (yes I know that's what can happen with bee/wasp stings). That turns it from cartoonish humour into something distinctly unpleasant. I must admit I didn't even realise it was for Barclays - shows what a "great" ad it must be.

It's the thought of having a bee in your mouth that's horrible. My daughter reckons she won't drink from cans now not that she does anyway. Suppose that's a plus point! BOO! you've got strange taste but each to their own.
Of course i've got strange taste- you haven't seen Mr Boo;)

Ha ha. That sounds intriguing but it's another topic entirely.
I think it's vile :(

I too found the advert funny tho i can understand people who suffer allergic reactions to bee/wasp stings to find it distastfull..

but then i know i have a warped mind :o)

Oh also i didnt realise it was for a bank either, im trying to work out the connection.

I think the connection must be because Banks are well known for 'stinging' their customers.  For every penny they can get!
I think it's awful!

Complete copy of an eppisode of the Simpsons, when Homer swallows some wasps and ends up being mistaken for Bigfoot.

And to think Barclays paid some ad exec to come up with that!!!! Haha

The bit that makes me laugh is at the end when the copper is standing triumphantly standing with one foot on the guys back like hes bagged an animal and another cop is taking a photo! That apart, i must agree it is a little disturbing
Come on and lighten up, it's only an advert. I think it's a hilarious one at that.
