Do you agree with me ABers, that we shouldn't have these new sub categories?? I think we get less answers because we are now putting questions into a sub category instead of the main one and people just can't be bothered - including me - to go into the sub categories ED please let's have our old AB back !! Just straight categories please !!

generally agree ...

there seem to be an excessive number of sub-categories?

for some topics - sub-catgories need weeding out ....

having the main topic amd sub-topics for 'Food and Drink' and Quizzes and Puzzles is confusing, and is probably a cause of the 'less answers' pont that you make in your question....

A previously made suggestion that the Main Topic Headings should be just that .... Topic Headings which you cannot post to ..... seemed supported, but does not garner a response from the editorial team.

..... ABers are not scrolling thru

Level of activity seems well-down on past-times?

An idea for more categories floated by some ABers in the past ... has been taken to extreme .... and,

... there is little real response from the editorial team on the many many postings made by ABers ... platitudes just irritate.

the good idea of ABers havinga poll on this matter again does not seem to have been responded to .... not to do so, seems to be riding rough-shod over ABers?

I, and I know some others have also, have found other forums, such as Yahoo Answers, e.g. I see Rainbow questions have been asked there and on other Q&Ps ....

AB seems to be a muddle .... so, you lose members.

So, is Answerbank still the best Q&A site, do you think? I haven't even tried any others ... yet ......
I have been saying Idon't like the new AB right from the moment the sub-sections appeared. So have a good number of other ABers, but no notice is being taken. I for one don't come on here as often as I used to and I don't scroll through the sub-sections much it is too muddly.

I haven't looked for a new forum yet, I keep hoping that they will sort out AB, but I am not holding my breath.

I wish our old AB Ed would come back, this one doesn't seem to be very interested in what we the users think.
I agree there are too many sub sections by far although I do think they have got it right in B&S. In news though there is no need. esp since one is governement and one is poliltics-bit too similar surely and current affairs is well....news is it not?
i agree there are far too many. aswell as sub sections, people still post in the first normal section, if you get me, far too many things to look through. lots of people want rid of them. hopefully sometime soon miss ed will listen to us!

Why don't we all ignore the sub sections then, and just ask our questions in the main 'bold' sections?? That would be easier all around surely ?? Thanks all.
I agree. The sub-categories are being ignored. If you do the right thing & post a question in a sub-category, you just don't get any answers! Get rid of em!
