No, because there has never been a mobile version of AB.  Just delete the m.

Barry - how long does the editor take to answer a query from the contact form (sent to emails that bounced back)

**2 emails**)

I  have put this on my other post regarding contacting the editor - I Give Up!!

Sorry, Massey.  I don't know how long the Editor takes to answer emails.

Good luck with that one. Not even sure we still have an editor. My queries haven't been answered from 3rd March, nor have my private emails.

Barry - both e mail bounced back - sever not recognised ao I used the contact form in my profile but no reply??

If emails have not/are not being replied to (in some cases as far back as march )-Surely the mods have other ways of contacting the Ed to ask why, on behalf of the senders ?

Mods?

Where is the AB customer service ?

Unfortunately, mods do not have any different means of contacting the editorial team.

I appreciate it's poor customer service but we are in the same boat.

Thank you for answering Corby x

The Answerbank created a "mobile version" many years ago Barry.

You're absolutely right. I was thinking of an app for mobiles which has been requested many times, to no avail.

I used to use the mobile version myself until it stopped working for me. Here is Buen's reply to Woodelf back in 2016.

"The Answerbank used to have two different versions, with one being designed for desktop computers ( URL = https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk ) and the other being designed for mobile devices, such as phones (URL = http://m.theanswerbank.co.uk ). The latter used a simpler layout in order to be easily read on a smaller screen. As such it was also extremely useful to people with visual handicaps, such as Woodelf, who use screen readers to listen to AB's content.

When the 'new' AB was launched though it was designed as a 'responsive' site, which automatically adjusts to the size of the screen on which it's being viewed. Since then, anyone using a desktop to view the site will receive the 'full' pages, even if they're using the old 'mobile' link above.

That's what's happening for Woodelf. He's trying access the mobile version on a desktop, as he used to be able to do, but no such specific version exists any more. So he now gets the whole page content, which his screen reader simply can't cope with"
