The Answerbank created a "mobile version" many years ago Barry.
You're absolutely right. I was thinking of an app for mobiles which has been requested many times, to no avail.
I used to use the mobile version myself until it stopped working for me. Here is Buen's reply to Woodelf back in 2016.
"The Answerbank used to have two different versions, with one being designed for desktop computers ( URL = https:/
When the 'new' AB was launched though it was designed as a 'responsive' site, which automatically adjusts to the size of the screen on which it's being viewed. Since then, anyone using a desktop to view the site will receive the 'full' pages, even if they're using the old 'mobile' link above.
That's what's happening for Woodelf. He's trying access the mobile version on a desktop, as he used to be able to do, but no such specific version exists any more. So he now gets the whole page content, which his screen reader simply can't cope with"
