I'd say the site is over moderated full stop. We are all adults and most of us behave ourselves. Yes, discussions can leads to childish name calling. But if its not personal, and not crude...please just let us get on with it! I'm not surprised people are leaving as we are fed up with Big Brother in all aspects of our lives.

As I was saying on a now removed thread, moderation needs looking at.

There is over-moderation in some aspects, but conversely the Site Rules are sometimes not applied particularly in regard to racist posts.

Amid all of this, let's not forget who provides the content here.

I would prefer to pay an annual fee - the ads are annoying. However, there are some really helpful people on here who have helped me out no end on several occasions, so I wouldn't "ditch" the site.
